Clip 1
“Even if you can’t do it yourself, get the concept and the picture of it in your mind, to know it can be done.” Pat makes this comment as he plays with Smart 7, who is about 60hrs old at the time of the filming. That statement really resonated with me! I have been immersing myself in so much of Parelli’s material, because I believe that it not only teaches me concepts, tools, techniques, etc. but it gives me a focus and vision of what is possible. I don’t know how far my horses and I will go; but I know and see where we can go… thanks to Parelli!
Clip 2
Attention LBI owner’s!! If your horse makes cranky face at you while playing this clip is for you! Linda's Liberty Session with an unmotivated LBI gelding is a good lesson to observe and make note of how Linda handles this horse’s cranky face, naughty games, and button pushing antics. I think the main thing I have learned with my LBI mare Pokey is to not let her win the game and to keep a healthy sense of humor. This is briefly discussed in this segment.
Clip 3
More beautiful inspiration with Karen Rohlf playing with her horse Monte and Pat and Linda's horse River. I love to watch her ride bareback; she is just great to watch!! So natural, rhythmic, and balanced!
Clip 4
Lastly a look back in time… Dr. Stephanie talks about what was then the new Level 1 (red box). This segment was such a great reminder of the dedication and hard work that has been put forth; for us to be able to learn such a phenomenal program at home!! Although I dream of participating in courses and clinics someday… I would be “lost” without the home study. Thanks Pat, Linda, Dr. Stephanie, and all the behind the scenes people who make our horse dreams reality! I think I will rent the DVD’s just to re-watch the “old” level 1 footage.
